Welcome to the Raymarien Forum Ed,

Unfortunately, the Ray50/60/70 VHF Radios do not currently support a "resume scan" feature, necessitating that the scan be set up again following communications. A feature request will be logged to consider this feature for inclusion within a future software update to Raymarine's current line of VHF radios as well as for inclusion within any future VHF radio designs.
