RE: [CA11] Display on Dragonfly 7Pro
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum tuc380,
It appears that there may have been a misunderstanding concerning the problem reported and which is shown within your photo. The chart card type, the chart card's contents, and the chart cards operational state should have no impact upon the display's Fishfinder application pages / panes. However, when viewing a Chart application page/pane, it is important to ensure that the Chart application's Chart Selection setting (OK->CHART SETTINGS->CHART SETTINGS->CHART SELECTION) has been configured to match the type of chart card which present within the display's memory card reader. Regarding the sonar imaging problem, it may well be caused by aeration of the transducer when operating at planing speeds. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. This FAQ also provides guidance regarding actions which may improve performance when operating at planing speeds. Should the display produce sonar imaging when operating a trolling speeds, then the display would be deemed to be operating correctly. If not, then the display should be returned to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. |
