RE: [CA11] Ray70/Raymic
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Ted,
It is possible that the RayMic's cabling may be picking up noise, triggering the reported behavior. It is recommended that you ensure that any excess cable for the RayMic has been loosely coiled (>6" diameter) and secured to a bulkhead well away from VHF antenna cables. If so and the problem persists, then the RayMic should be disconnected from the bulkhead socket, that the RayMic be connected directly to the Ray70 and that the radio be tested again. Should the problem persist, then it would be recommended that the RayMic and Ray70 be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. |
