Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Ian,
As you have suggested, interfacing such devices would typically be accomplished via the Tack Tick T122 Wireless Interface. In short, the third party chartplotter's 4800 BAUD NMEA 0183 OUT+ and OUT- leads would in turn be interfaced to the T122 Wireless Interface's NMEA 0183 IN+ and IN- terminals respectively. |
