What are these lines?
I just installed an Evolution EV 100 that is hooked up to my A98 MFD.
I only got to try it for a few minutes as it was a little too rough for an extended test session.
I now have two lines vectoring from the boats position on the screen. One is green and one red. They go in different directions but tend to merge together and cross as I turn to starboard.
I'm assuming one is the direction the boat is facing as seen by the EV 100 compass and the other is the direction the boat is actually moving as seen by the GPS.
I realize that there will always be some deviation between these two but should I be looking to correct most of this through the compass linearization process or is this normal?

Thanks
