RE: [TG11] Type 2 linear drive
Hello,
The motors are supplied sprocket-attached from the motor manufacturer. The sprocket is designed to last for the life of the motor, it's not intended as an individually-replaceable part, and I don't recall an occasion when we have received a linear drive into this office where the motor was good but the sprocket was not. It may be that we could remove the sprocket, but as I say, here in Australia we don't, largely because we've not come across a need to do so. Sorry I can't help you with any advice on that. Regards, Tom Raymarine since 1999. Interests: Diagnosis of problems in sonar/fishfinders, NMEA2000, ethernet comms, autopilots, thermal cameras Location: Sydney, Australia. Please don't PM me asking for direct support, please ask a public question instead so that others can see the question and answer. Forum posts will always be answered before PM requests. |
