Welcome to the Raymarine Forum taitelh,
Q1) Any ideas? I'm assuming the base station is not functioning, but don't see an obvious way to test that other than making sure that power is being supplied. A1) It is recommended that you de-register the handset and then attempt to register the handset again. Should this not work, then it would be recommended that a Factory Reset be performed via the handset and that you then attempt to register the handset again. The procedures for registering, de-registering, and Factory Reset may be found on page 27 of the S100 User's Guide. Should the problem persist, then it would be recommended that the handset and base station both be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. Q2) Does Raymarine still support/benchtest this unit? If so, cost? A2) Yes. The bench test fee is $90. Fee waived if unit is repaired/replaced. Q3) Does Raymarine repair these units? A3) Yes. |
