Please claarify "you can still send waypoint and route to the pilot" ?

So it's possible to send waypoints and routes from the Axiom (w/ LH3) to an S1 Autopiot? Explain how and what does "just lacking feature of pilot control?

Note I have the E22158 converter installed.
