Hi gauvins
The MFD and Radar bundle is the way to go and ditch the a50 - or run it independantly as a standalone backup. The Current MFDs use STng, ( Raymarine's equivalent of NMEA2000 - they are compatible incidently) and so an E22158 converter would be used to connect the new MFD STng backbone network to the current Seatalk network including the SPX30. This will enable all current SeaTalk data to be shared with the new MFD. With regards to EU and USA variants - Raymarine do not make different versions of the Radar and MFD Bundle for the EU and USA, all that is required is the appropriate cartography for the region you will be sailing in.
