Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum Tony,

Q1. If I upgrade to Axiom, can I use the chirp/downvision transducer combined with the new set up ALONG with the B744.?
A1. Yes

Q2. I was also thinking of in networking the two. Have one as a Q2, with the B744, the other with the newer transducer and sharing the RayGPS antenna?
A2. This is indeed possible. All data and resources is shared between Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs via Ethernet communications.
