I brought the Axiom 9 back to the boat and reconnected. Did all the various setup settings again for the boat, charts and instruments. Took it out for the afternoon and got several 'lost satellite fix' messages. But the unit stayed on and has survived several restarts without issue.

Not sure what to do. I had a third party MFD that never lost satellites in probably 10 years of use. Same location and mounting.

I'll probably see how it goes until I haul the boat then maybe send it in for flat rate repair/test if the problem persists.
