Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As indicated within the referenced FAQ, Log and Ground Log data items would not be suited to this purpose. Also as indicated within the referenced FAQ, MFDs running the latest available Raymarine product software update support four Ground Trips. In this case, it would be recommended that Ground Trip 1 be reset at the start of each season, and that one or more of the other Ground Trips (i.e. 2, 3, or 4) be used to record distance traveled for other purposes. The referenced FAQ provides the command sequence for resetting Ground Trips.
