The latest compatible software for use with a/c/e-Series MFDs is LightHouse II v19.03. Raymarine's currently manufactured MFDs (the Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs) are designed to run LightHouse 3 software. MFDs running LightHouse 3 software cannot be installed within an Ethernet network which also features MFDs running LightHouse II software. While a MFD running LightHouse II software and a MFD running LightHouse 3 software may each be interfaced as spurs to a common powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone, these MFDs would be unable to share data/resources requiring the high bandwidth of Ethernet communications (cartography, radar, fishfinder, satellite weather, etc.).
