SPX autopilots and ST70 autopilot control head are not designed to be directly interfaced to one another. These devices must each be interfaced as a spur to the system's powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng backbone. Communications between the products may then be verified by using the ST70 autopilot control head's Diagnostics menu to list the system's devices. If the ST70 list the SPX autopilot course computer then communications has been verified.
