When sonar logging is enabled and the SonarChart Live feature is enabled, the MFD will record sonar logs to the chart card and display the logged sonar bathys along the vessel's track. This feature is covered in Section 14.23 - Navionics Advanced Menu

Sonar logs may be uploaded via Wi-Fi to a mobile device running the Navionics Boating app. Sonar logs may also be uploaded by bringing the chart card to a computer having access to the Internet and is running the Navionics Chart Installer program. Further information concerning how to upload sonar logs may be found on the Navionics web site.
