RE: VHF static coming from networking cables
Hi Chuck - My answers are inline.
How much distance is separating: - the radios from the network switch - 6" - 12" but tested with networks switch a couple feet away and still had static - the radios from the DSM300 - several feet - the radio antenna cables from the network cables (specify minimum distance) - They are very close (2") in one spot then seperate to 6" - 12". How many RF chokes have been applied to the network cables? I currently have 2 on each ends of the DSM and Radar cables |
