RE: [TG11] Integrate GME AIST120 with Ray e7 MFD
Hello po46camelot,
The e7 uses a Raymarine STNG connector for its NMEA2000 whilst the AIS will almost certainly use the more common Micro-C/Devicenet connector type (we feel that STNG connectors are better.) You can either cable this with STNG or Devicenet cabling but either way you will need an adaptor cable. To use STNG cabling you could get an STNG Starter Kit (part T70134) and Devicenet-STNG adaptor cable, part A06075. You would then also want a long-ish STNG spur cable to run to the e7: A06040 is 3m or A06041 is 5m. Regards, Tom Raymarine since 1999. Interests: Diagnosis of problems in sonar/fishfinders, NMEA2000, ethernet comms, autopilots, thermal cameras Location: Sydney, Australia. Please don't PM me asking for direct support, please ask a public question instead so that others can see the question and answer. Forum posts will always be answered before PM requests. |
