[CA11] Wind transducers and mast rotation
I have a trimaran with a rotating mast. When I bought the boat it came with a Garmin wired wind sensor a MN100-2 digital display and a depth/speed tansducer. Only the speed and depth ever worked. In order for the wind fearures to work I believe I need to get, at least, a T221 mast rotation sener, an ev-1 or 2 core (or some other) heading sensor, and a Micro-talk gateway, correct? My question is do I need to get a raymarine micro-net wireless wind sensor or will the Mast Rotation Sensor still correct the NMEA2000/0183 wind output for mast rotation through the micro-talk gateway? Will correct true and apparent wind data be displayed on other instruments on the nmea2000/0183 network or just the MN100-2?
