Which NMEA "depth" will be displayed?

In this case where is the offset acquired from?

I see no option on the MFD to set a depth offset when the depth source is NMEA.

The DBT sentence has no syntax for an offset. The DPT sentence does.

Can I then conclude the E80 will use the DPT (including offset) if available?

(To be clear, the source of the NMEA depth data is a non-Ray, non-Seatalk unit.)
