RE: C90w doesn't maintain head up and/or course up vector orientation
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Sowwanin,
Please don't confuse COG vector with Course-Up chart orientation. The COG vectors is designed to display the projected vessel's track over ground and is draw based on GPS data from the system's GPS sensor. Course Up chart orientation is designed to orient the chart to the course line of a waypoint/cursor position to which navigation has been commanded or the leg line of a route which has been commanded to be followed. It is possible that there may be an issue with the MFD's source of heading data. Please identify the makes/models of other marine electronic devices which the MFD has been interfaced to. The problem may also be clarified by adding the COG/SOG, Waypoint Info, and Heading data items to the databar and then attaching some screen snapshots showing the reported problem. |
