As indicated, ot is possible that there may be an issue with the MFD's source of heading data ... in this case it may be your autopilot. It is correspondingly recommended that the Heading data item (previously requested to be added to the Databar be compared to a properly calibrated, fluid filled compass (should one have been installed onboard) when steering each of the cardinal and intercardinal points of the compass. Should the heading values differ, then it would be recommended that the autopilot's compass be re-calibrated (verify that the maximum detected deviation is no greater than 10 degrees) and aligned. Should the problem persist, add the COG/SOG, Waypoint Info, and Heading data items to the Databar and then take some screen snapshots showing the reported problem. The screen snapshots may then be reviewed to prior to supplying any further recommendations.
