RE: [CA11] V850 Transducer to Axiom
Reelfast19,
Please note that transducer's which had been designed for use with the long retired Raytheon V850 supported 200kHz frequency, as do the iTC-5 and i50/i40 Depth instrument products. Unfortunately, we no longer have information on the transducers which the V850 had been used with. However, it is quite possible that it's wiring is consistent with the FAQ found here. As the transducer was produced by Airmar, Inc., it would be recommended that a photograph of the transducer's identification tag be taken and that Gemeco, Inc. (Airmar’s US distributor (803 693 0777)) be contacted for information concerning its wiring diagram to confirm that the transducer's blue and black leads would be used when instead connecting it to a 200kHz depth instrument. |
