Dear Raymaria,
Thank you for your post. Referencing the STng installation manual that is available to download from our website here, start to install your STng backbone in preparation for upgrading your installation. Each instrument head will have its own spur connected directly to a white STng port. The instrument will be powered from the STng backbone. As you are using the i50 and i60 instruments, you connect the transducers directly to the back of these units. The data will then be shared to other products on the STng network like your Raymarine MFD to display your wind, depth and speed through water in databoxes on the display. Many Thanks Louise |
