[CA11] C70 Classic to Standard Horizon VHF
Hello,
I have the Raymarine C70 Classic MFD (with the latest software). It gets GPS from an external GPS antenna - I am not able to determine how the antenna connects, I thought it was via the NMEA 0183 port but it appears to connect via Seatalk. I also have ST70 tridata, autopilot, and wind direction, as well as Raymarine autopilot and radar. Some device is connected to the MFD's NMEA 0183 port but I am not able to determine what it is from the cable. I installed a Standard Horizon GX 2200 VHF last year that has GPS and AIS and has a NMEA 0183 output. Ideally, I'd like to see the VHF's AIS data on the MFD - it looks like the only connection opportunity is to connect via the MFD's NMEA 0183 port. Is that accurate? Thank you! |
