AIS hookup to e95 - Standard Horizon Matrix GX2200 - Wire help

I have an AIS 700 connected to a 125MFD, and old non AIS ICOM VHF. The AIS 700 is working fine. I am replacing the ICOM VHF with the SH GX2400 unit which has a Class B receiver only. I plan to use this feature only on the SH GX2400 VHF to facilitate rapid DSC calls to target approaching vessels. I do not plan to have the SH G2400 AIS interface with any other devices. My question is whether while the AIS 700 is using the antenna through the internal splitter to transmit and receive,, will the SH GX 2400 AIS receiver also be able to simultaneously receive its AIS signal?
