RE: Pathfinder connected to eS97 seatalkng network
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum George,
While it is certainly possible to interface the ST60 + Speed, depth, wind, Tridata, and Raystar 125 GPS Sensor to a SeaTalkng backbone via a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter(s), a Pathfinder display may not respond to Stop GoTo or Stop Follow commands initiated by an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD. As with Pathfinder Series MFDs which had been interfaced to C/E-Series Classic MFDs, it may be necessary when ceasing to stop navigation to additionally command Stop GoTo or Stop Follow on the Pathfinder Series Display. While alphanumeric GPS data, instrument data, and system state data may available to the Pathfinder Series Display when so interfaced, waypoint, route, and track data cannot be transferred between an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD and a Pathfinder Series Display. |
