SPX-5 Wheel with ST4000+ Head

OK, sorry about that, Let my try it this way.....

Can I connect a SPX-5 Wheel drive to the Motor drive output of my ST4000+ display/course computer?

I understand that the X5 is a remote computer that is normally used for the SPX-5 wheel drive Pilot system and that the Wheel "drive output" is wired directly to the Wheel drive, what I am saying is that the ST4000+ disply/computer also has this same output...can I not just retain this display/computer and let this unit drive the SPX wheel via its output?

I do not have a X5 course computer at all.
