RE: Dual Station E127 NMEA 0183 Output
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum jrhodes777,

Please note that when interfaced via an Ethernet network, the a/c/e/eS-Series MFDs will share all system data (except for NTSC/PAL analog video sources) with one another. Accordingly and should the concept of operation include always having both MFDs in the ON power state when using them, it is only necessary to interface the NMEA 0183 output of one of the MFD's to the autopilot's NMEA 0183 input interface. However, should the concept of operation include having on of the MFDs in the ON power state while the other is in the OFF power state, then it would be necessary to install a DPDT switch to control which of the MFD's will be supplying the autopilot with system data. Alternatively, a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 to NMEA 0183 data bridging device (ex. Actisense NGW-1-STNG, etc.) may be interfaced to the SeaTalkng backbone and then NMEA 0183 input port of the autopilot to eliminate such a switch.
