NMEA2000 and STNG
We already have an existing N2K backbone installed on a 34' boat with flybridge. ACU200 and all other Raymarine devices including EV1, ES 97,
ES127...The is a XBrand GPS sensor N2k that is also tied in. There are terminators situated and every thing works just fine. The end user now wants to ad a SMART CONTROLLER... The SEATALK to STNG CONVERTER kinda messes up the neatness of the N2K BACKBONE. I suppose i could Take terminator out of N2K backbone and Use Blue Black STNG BACKBONE cable with end lopped of to a N2K field connector and Then hook up STNG Backbone to N2K BACKBONE. All the time making sure we only have two TERMINATORS...Would really like to simplify this more but not sure it's possible.Thank you in advance |
