RE: Connecting eSXXX to ship's ethernet network
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Istream,

Your feature request will be logged accordingly. Raymarine does not support reconfiguration of the gateway and DNS address network configuration settings of its products. As has been indicated within the Forum and as you have repeated within your question below, interfacing the Raymarine Ethernet networks to other Ethernet networks is neither recommended nor supported. Accordingly, it is recommended that the Raymarine system be disconnected from your router.

For those seeking to have their MFD's access the Internet (for the purpose of software updates and for Theyr Weather downloads) and simultaneously support the Raymarine Mobile apps and while permitting their mobile devices access to the Internet may do so by:
- configuring the MFD's Wi-Fi sharing feature (HOME->SET-UP->WIRELESS CONNECTIONS->WI-FI->WI-FI NETWORKS) to connect to a Wi-Fi access point through which Internet access is available, and then
- configuring your mobile device's Wi-Fi settings to connect to the MFD.

Please click here more information concerning product and feature suggestions.
