[LW11] Mfd E7 AIS
For a long time now my e7 mfd has occasionally flashed up the message lost gps or lost ais. It is using the inbuilt gps and this usually sorts it self quite quickly. The ais used to reconnect quickly but now the only way I can get it to reconnect is to turn off the display and turn it back on again. This leads me to think that the problem is with the e7 not the ais. It also appears to happen more often when the e7 is getting hot from the sun. When I managed to get it working the other day I shaded it and it stayed on. Any ideas, I have disconnected spray cleaned the connections and reconnected all of the leads.
We have plenty of power from the batteries so it is not a low voltage problem.
