With the older Platinum Plus chart card that I tested, Sonar (Fish) charts may be viewed starting at the 12nm chart scale. If it has not been previously stated, the E-Series Classic MFDs were designed and tested by Raymarine for use with Navionics Platinum, not Platinum Plus cartography. I suspect the the feature which you have identified may associated with the latest Navionics cartography.
