RE: Upgrading from 2001 Raytheon
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jeff,

Your equipment list looks good with the following comments:
- Regarding the Raystar 130 Converter Retro Pack, it is recommended that an E32153 RayStar 130 GPS Sensor alone be purchased. This item will simply be interfaced as a spur to the powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng backbone to which the Ray70, i70, and a127 will each also be interfaced as spurs.
- Regarding the Raymarine VHF NMEA 0183 to SeaTalkng Kit, as the Raystar 130 GPS Sensor will be interfaced to the SeaTalkng backbone along with the Ray70, the Ray70 will pick up GPS data from this GPS sensor via the SeaTalkng backbone. As such, the Raymarine VHF NMEA 0183 to SeaTalkng Kit would not be needed.
- Regarding GA150 GPS antenna - not required (redundant) as a result of installing the Raystar 130 GPS Sensor.
