Q1: Does the i50 require separate power?
A1: No. The i50 will be powered via the SeaTalkng backbone

Q2: Are the other components powered correctly?
A2: The SeaTalkng backbone should be powered from a switched 12VDC power circuit. The SeaTalkng Power Cable supplied with the SeaTalkng Starter Kit may be used for this purpose. It woudl simply be plugged into one of the white spur sockets of the SeaTalkng backbone.
