Mike,
It is recommended that the high speed fairing be installed in all instances except for those in which a custom pocket exactly matching the shape of the transducer has been created in the hull. The key in ensuring performance of the transducer is to ensure that that the transducer is facing downward and has been faired to ensure a non-aerated flow of water across its face. |
