Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bill,

The reported issue may occur if the rudder travel exceeds 30 degrees and/or if the rudder reference transducer is failing. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing how to test the rudder reference transducer. Should the rudder reference transducer be found to be good, then the rudder travel should be tested to ensure that it does not permit more than +/- 30 degrees of travel.
