Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tugo,
The fairing blocks of through hull transducer are indeed intended to be cut by the installer to match the deadrise of the hull. When installed properly a thru-hull transducer having a fairing block will be installed such that it is pointing downward with its face parallel to the waterline. |
