Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bucky,

The M81105 Rotary Rudder Reference Transducer should be used with the ST4000/ST4000+/ST5000/ST5000+ and other Raymarine autopilot course computers which are designed for use with a rudder reference transducer. Teleflex also offer the AR4502RM Raymarine Smartstick Linear Rudder Reference Transducer for use in applications such as outboard engines where a linear rudder reference transducer may be a better fit.
