Essentially, the reported status may be ignored if the fishfinder feature is otherwise functioning correctly. The watchdog timeout indicates that one of its real time processes was unable to complete the assigned processing within the time slice which had been allotted, causing the DSM to reboot. When this status is observed, the fault typically occurred during the initial power-up sequence. Should the fishfinder's features not be functioning correctly, then the recommendations of the FAQ found here should be followed.
