RE: [TG11] i60 question
Hello Jerry,

The cable from the ST1000 back isn't Raymarine-specific, it's just two-core marine power cable. Cable gauge guidelines are on p43 of the ST1000+/ST2000+ installation manual, but always go heavier rather than lighter. Of course since this is marine cable it should be tinned, not bare copper.

i60 is still a current product. ST50 and ST60/ST60+ are retired. You can connect ST1000 to i60 over direct Seatalk (Seatalk1) or to a wider NMEA2000 (SeatalkNG) network through a Seatalk1-SeatalkNG convertor. Which you do depends on whether you have any other navigational electronics such as a GPS chartplotter, and if so, what make/model. i60 can talk either Seatalk1 or SeatalkNG/NMEA2000 depending on how it's connected. To do direct ST1 to the ST1000, it's probably simplest to cut the plug off the end of the i60's supplied STNG cable and extract the red, black and yellow, then connect those colour-for-colour to the rear of the ST1000's deck socket (12V, 0V and ST1 Data respectively.)

Regards,
Tom
