RE: [CA11] Enter waypoint by bluetooth
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bluebear,

Q. Can I enter waypoints from my iPad using iNavX?
A. Negative. There are third party NMEA 0183 to WiFi and NMEA 2000 to WiFi communications interfaces available within the marketplace which may provide a solution. Within Tack Tick systems featuring a MicroTalk Gateway, a NMEA 2000 to WiFi gateway may be used to supply the system with VMG to waypoint data when navigation has been commanded. Some Tack Tick MaxiView displays have the capability to display this data. Within similar systems featuring a TackTack T122 Wireless Interface, a NMEA 0183 to WiFi gateway may be used to supply the system with VMG to waypoint data when navigation has been commanded. As suggested within both of these solutions, the communications medium would be WiFi rather than Bluetooth.
