C80 replacement help

I have a C80 that has gotten buggy, and I want to replace it but am concerned with needing to upgrade or replace all of my equipment.
(autopilot ST wind and multi display, GPS).
I have found many used e80's, is there a reason to use something newer? Thanks

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing replacement of the C-Series Classic MFD with a currently manufactured a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD. Should you have been satisfied with the features of the C80 MFD and not interested in the feature additional features supported by the a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs, then an E80 may be the best option. The E80 is almost a drop-in replacement for the C80.

Note: care should be exercised when purchasing a second hand C-Series Classic MFD or E-Series Classic MFD, as Raymarine's Product Repair Center has limited capabilities to render repairs to these MFDs because many of the parts for these MFDs are no longer available.
