RF drain wire on power cords

RE: RF drain wire on power cords
OK, thank you for that information. I haven't been able to locate the bonding cable as of yet on my boat, but I presume it has one. One thing I did notice is there appears to be a grounding wire tied to the bolts for the fuel fill where it comes through the hull, which is next to the access panel for electronics / back side of the dash. Would it be possible to tie my RF drains in to that wire and achieve the required bonding / grounding, or is that not recommended?

It is not recommended that you do as you have suggested. Should your boat have a bonding cable, then it would likely be connected to a bonding plate. You may want to consider searching from the direction of the bonding plate.
