Question [CA] EV150 Autopilot
Is the EV150 autopilot with a type 1 hydraulic pump a good choice for a 36 foot trawler with single engine, maximum speed of 8 knots, 12 volt system, and a 7.2 c.i. hydraulic steering ram?

Indeed, an EV150 with a Type 1 pump would be recommended for a vessel having the steering system and power characteristics which you have specified.
