[CA] Does RealVision and SideVision work at full plane?
Question 1. Does SideVision and RealVision on the Axiom Pro RVX work while the boat is on full plane? How clear will the image be assuming the transducer(s) is installed correctly?

Question 2: Will the RV-200 series transducer produce a better picture while the boat is on full plane vs. the RV-100, assuming both transducers are installed correctly?

Thanks.

RE: [CA] Does RealVision and SideVision work at full plane?
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum karlista,

Q1. Does SideVision and RealVision on the Axiom Pro RVX work while the boat is on full plane? How clear will the image be assuming the transducer(s) is installed correctly?
A1. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject.

Q2: Will the RV-200 series transducer produce a better picture while the boat is on full plane vs. the RV-100, assuming both transducers are installed correctly?
A2. See the response to Q1. Further, thru-hull transducers will typically produce the highest imaging performance. It is also likely that the High CHIRP conical sonar from the RV-200 will track bottom at greater speeds than the transom mounted RV-100.
