[CA] ES128 transducer issue?

I have a ES128- not a Axiom unit but I am assuming it responds the same with priority in the system?
Will disabling "Ping" in the sounder screen correct the issue or will the P66 continue to transmit temperature even with the "Ping" off?

Bill,

I understand that you have an eS128 MFD. The prioritization specified within the previously referenced FAQ (minus the references to Axiom and Axiom Pro) apply to both MFDs running LightHouse II software as well as those running LightHouse 3 software. Disabling the ping from the P66 will not prevent water temperature from this transducer from being supplied to the system. Unless the MFD's software is updated to LightHouse II, only disconnecting the P66 from the DSM, disconnecting the DSM from the network or or switching OFF the circuit supplying power to the DSM will cause temperature data from this transducer to cease being supplied to the system.
