[CA11] Power Switch for i70s Display
I am considering an i70s display in the interior of my sailboat for when I'm on long passages.

I would like to be able to power the unit on/off without turning off all the instruments (SmartPilot S2, depth, speed, wind, etc). This is for battery/power consumption reasons.

Can I put an inline toggle switch on the red line in the SeaTalk cable to safely power the unit on/off without interfering with the other instruments?

Thanks!!

RE: [CA11] Power Switch for i70s Display
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum JYLC48,

Please be aware that the i70S features a power button, permitting it to be switched OFF when not needed. As long as the i70S is simply functioning as a repeater within your system, then switching it OFF should have no impact upon the other devices within the system.
