looking at a raymarine refurbished to replace my E52069 unit that has shorted itself from PCB to its metal cover plate. What model would I need?

RE: [CA11]what's the difference between E52069E and ER
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum jrm,

The "E" suffix on the end of the E52069 indicates that the open array features "enhanced" circuitry and software to support Bird Mode and 48 RPM. The "R" suffix indicates that the product is a re-manufactured product. Any product which is compatible with the E52069 would also then be compatible with the E52069E or E52069ER.

Hi Chuck,

I purchased and installed a remanufactured pedestal and all is working well once again with my radar.

Thanks, Joe
