[CA11] Cam210 install with Axiom mfd
Using rj45 to have power at the camera, do I need a POE injector?
Do I need the HSS Raynet network switch? Is there anything else needed to make this work? What cable to connect to the mfd? |

RE: [CA11] Cam210 install with Axiom mfd
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Svbelle,
The CAM210 may be powered via any of the following: - a 12VDC or 24VDC power circuit which has been interfaced to the CAM210's power leads. In this case, the CAM210 would be interfaced to the MFD's Ethernet Network socket or HS5 RayNet Network Switch via an assembly constructed from an assembly constructed from the supplied R32142 waterproof RJ45(F) to RJ45 (F) inline coupler an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RJ45 (M) Cable. - a POE injector or POE switch which has been interfaced to the CAM210's Ethernet cable. In this case, an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RJ45 (M) Cable would be used to interface the unpowered socket of the POE Injector or POE switch to the MFD's Ethernet Network socket or HS5 RayNet Network Switch. |

Thanks, i went with POE. Works good.
Is there a way to orient the camera and flip the picture? I need to mount to the underside of a plate. Mounted with the base at the bottom gives correct pic orientation. If i flip it over with the base mounting plate above then the picture is upside down. Using with Axiom MFD. |
