[CA11] P74 - Sonar Transducer and Axiom Pro Question
Hello,
I have a P74 - Sonar Transducer (part number E66073) that was plugged straight into the MFD Es127 “transducer†port. This worked great, however, I now have an Axiom Pro 12 MFD that does not have a transducer port for the P74 - Sonar Transducer. How do I interface the P74 - Sonar Transducer to the Axiom Pro? I have the transducer cable running directly to the chart plotter location. Thanks for your help with this. Best wishes, Brian |

RE: [CA11] P74 - Sonar Transducer and Axiom Pro Question
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Brian,
Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. It is possible to adapt 50kHz/200kHz transducers which were designed for use with and to be directly mated (i.e. no adaptation) to a CP370/CP300/DSM300/DSM30 fishfinder sounder module for use with an Axiom Pro RV MFD. However, it is not possible to adapt transducers which had been designed for use with and to be directly mated (i.e. no adaptation) to a DSM25 fishfinder sounder module or MFD having internal 600W fishfinder sounder circuitry (ex. A50D/A57D/A70D MFD or ax7/cx7/ex7/eSx7 MFD) for use with an Axiom Pro RVX MFD. If seeking a compatible 50kHz/200kHz in-hull transducer which may be adapted to be mated to the Transducer socket of an Axiom Pro RVX MFD, then the E66008 P79 In-Hull, A66089 M260 In-Hull, or E66076 R199 In-Hull Fishfinder Transducers would be recommended. Of these options, the P79 In-Hull is a relatively low cost option offering similar fishfinder performance to the P74 transducer, |
